The Queensland RTO delivers qualifications in business and marketing, food safety and hospitality, including training in schools, traineeships and apprenticeships. Its service model relies on strong student support, which takes more than teaching alone.

The challenge: funding pressure and a growing workload
Funding changes in the VET sector can push providers toward bigger classes and heavier workloads. Eight role types
The offshore roles included resource developers, instructional designers, compliance officers, student support staff and tutors, sales coordinators, marketing assistants, graphic and multimedia designers, and accountants.
The results: up to 70% lower labour costs
The clearest measured result was a labour cost reduction of up to 70%, which Redmako linked to improved business viability. The operational gains went further:
- Trainers gained more time to focus on their core duties
- Students received more consistent follow-up from enrolment through to completion
- Operational support expanded across a large part of the business
- Redmako reported it could better deliver the service it wanted for students and clients
